Trials and Tribulations of trying to set up a business whilst working full time!

Well, I have deleted my first blog as I wasn't, I think, giving it the attention it deserved. As I have said before, I have thought about setting up my own business for years - ever since I first worked at the Labour Party Shop when they were in Walworth Road - I remember going for my interview with rubble everywhere whilst they were converting the old building into offices. I got the job much to my amazement - and enjoyed every year spent there - from the highs and lows of opposition to that wonderful night in 1997 when we were all watching Labour get into power from the South Bank - I remember too when Tony Blair and everyone came to talk to us as the sun was beginning to dawn - a definite day to remember...

Anyway, that aside, I have, as I said always wanted to be my own "boss" - not because I can tell myself what to do, but because I feel I know I have the passion and ability to make a success of something for myself not just for someone else!

Having spent some years now working for a Charity, it made me realise that I need to do something now rather than later - I definitely do not want to be looking back and thinking "what if....?"
